Under the Sea Baby Quilt

My Mom just had to add something to my Kaleidoscope Style Shop! She is very talented (that's where I got it all from) and likes to concentrate her crafty efforts to sewing and quilting. She actually made my Wedding Dress so she knows what she is doing! This is a version of a quilt that she made for my baby girl. Hers now hangs in front of her crib and she just loves to look at all the sea creatures and touch them. So this is just perfect to have a child relax and enjoy the crib. Of course it is also perfect to use as a blanket - so soft and cuddly. Plus it is pretty large at 3' x 4'. That's a lucky child who will own this quilt!

That's a beautiful quilt! When my son and daughter turned two I had quilts made for them (me, quilt? Yeah, right!) out of some of their baby clothes. The lady did such a nice job -- she used an entire teeny weenie bikini, an embroidered diaper cover, and the strap (with clip still attached) from a pair of overalls.
