Happy New Year!!!

I wanted to wish everyone out there a happy prosperous new year. And have a great night today!
The last week has been crazy for me finally setting up shop at Etsy to sell my handmade jewelry. I learned so much about all the different venues to get the word out about my shop. There is still so much more to do...but all to be done in the new year. Thanks for the support!

Feature Artist

I'm very excited today, because I was chosen as the feature artist on Paris Chic Boutique's blog! Thank you so much for the support. My Fanciful Necklace with Silver and Faceted Citrines had been their favorite. That one was so much fun to make and I plan on incorporating those scrolls/swirls in many more pieces. Let's see how many different ways I can come up to curl the wire.
Please check out their blog parischicboutique.blogspot.com and also their shop on shabby chic Parisian home decor at parischicboutique.etsy.com.

Valentine #2

My little 'Be My Valentine' pendant is finished! I selected the gemstones to go around my little heart pendant this morning. And then coiled and coiled all day to get it done so I can show it off at Etsy today. I just made it to still call it today (as supposed to tomorrow).

Up next...Valentines Day

I went grocery shopping today and what did I see…all the Christmas items were gone (well, 50% off) and replaced by Valentines Day items overnight! Times move so fast. Nonetheless, I couldn’t wait to get home and design a special Valentines Day pendant. I found just the right focal bead for it. It is this beautiful red coin freshwater pearl. As you can see, I just finished the wire frame for it and coiled the bail. Hopefully I have time later tonight to select all the beads to go around the pearl. I will post a picture as soon as I design that part of the pendant.

Let's get started!!!!

This is my first blog. I'm so excited!!! Well, I finished a little pendant today. It's the first with little beads hanging from it that gives it lots of movement. I actually made a similar one for my sister-in-law for Christmas. It looks so good on her that I thought I just have to make one for my site. I called this one Icicles because it's all done in cold blue and white. Very wintery.
